Strategic Intentions 2016-2020

The Ministry of Social Development Strategic Intentions 2016-2020 (formerly the Statement of Intent) sets out our strategic direction and the priorities that will contribute to our purpose and delivery of Government’s priorities. Our purpose is it to help New Zealanders help themselves to be safe, strong and independent.

Strategic Intentions is published in accordance with section 39 of the Public Finance Act 1989.
