Work and Income
Work and Income are there to help you financially if you're on a low income or not working, support you into work and help you find housing.
This includes superannuation payments to retired people along with the administration of war pensions and residential care and support subsidies. They also administer the Community Services Card, International Services.
Family Services Directory
The Family Services Directory is to connect people with providers who can help them to cope with common issues and problems.
It lists information about family support organisations and the services/programmes they offer to support New Zealand families (we call the organisations in the Family Services Directory "providers").
StudyLink
StudyLink is a service of the Ministry of Social Development. We seek to ensure that students get the finance and support they are entitled to so they can complete their study.
SuperGold
The SuperGold Card is a discounts and concessions card issued free to all eligible seniors and veterans in recognition of the contribution they have made, and continue to make to New Zealand society.
Ministry of Youth Development
Ministry of Youth Development provides policies, programmes and services relating to young people.
Office for Seniors
The Office for Seniors provides information on the senior citizens sector, promotes and monitors the Positive Ageing Strategy; and provides services to the Minister for Seniors
Office for Disability Issues
The Office for Disability Issues is responsible for promoting the implementation of the New Zealand Disability Strategy, and monitoring actions to enable the participation and inclusion of disabled people in our society.
Are you OK!
The Campaign is part of a community-wide movement led by individuals and organisations throughout New Zealand who are working together to help prevent family violence. It will provide information, resources and support to create a society that says family violence is never ok.
Heartland Services
This website provides information for people who live in provincial or rural areas of New Zealand and how they can access government services.
The Social Report
The Social Report provides information on the social health and wellbeing of New Zealand society. Indicators are used to measure levels of wellbeing, to monitor trends over time, and to make comparisons with other countries.
Strengthening Families
Strengthening Families provides a way for families to get co-ordinated access to services. It is run in a way that meets the unique needs of each family/whānau.
