Volunteers

People who volunteer are motivated by a desire to contribute to their community, feel useful, meet others and learn new skills.

Volunteers can:

• make their time available to your school
• share their skills, experience and understanding of relationships and people
• use their networks in the community to benefit your school
• bring a wider perspective and personal qualities such as listening skills, patience, tolerance and humour.

Each volunteer will have something special to offer and their skills should be matched accordingly.
