Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs - Approval for 2022-23 Funding

This paper seeks Cabinet’s approval to allocate $6 million from an underspend in Vote Social Development in 2021/22 to 2022/23 to fully fund the Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ) Community Resilience Programme through to 30 June 2023. The Community Resilience Programme is a Ministry of Social Development partnership with Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) that funds participating councils to support initiatives that target youth employment and training.
